What does the BMS score mean?
BMS (Beef Marbling Score) measures the amount of intramuscular fat in Wagyu. Higher scores indicate more marbling, which creates greater tenderness and flavor.
How should I store Wagyu after delivery?
Keep your Wagyu frozen until you're ready to cook. If thawed, store in the refrigerator and cook within 1–2 days.
Why is Wagyu more expensive than regular beef?
Wagyu cattle are carefully raised and known for producing beef with exceptional marbling, which creates a richer flavor and more tender texture than traditional beef.
Where do you deliver?
We currently deliver throughout San Diego County.
Should Wagyu be cooked differently than regular steak?
Yes. Because of its high marbling, Wagyu cooks faster and requires less seasoning than traditional beef.
Do the steaks arrive frozen or fresh?
Our steaks arrive frozen to ensure they remain at peak quality during delivery.
How much Wagyu should I order per person?
Because Wagyu is very rich, smaller portions go a long way. Most people find 4–6 ounces per person is enough for a satisfying serving.
What types of Wagyu do you offer?
We offer Japanese A5, Australian Wagyu, and American Wagyu, each known for its rich flavor and exceptional marbling.
